USE CASE

Toilet safety and transfers

The difficult part may be turning, controlled descent, clothing management or rising from a low position.

Observe the direction of force

Watch the user complete the normal sequence. Note whether they push down, pull upward or need bilateral support.

Check clearance and substrate

Support must not obstruct wheelchair approach, caregiver access, doors or cleaning. Fixed products require a verified wall structure and fixing method.

Possible product forms

Straight, L-shaped, flip-up and floor-supported rails, toilet frames or raised-seat solutions should be matched to the user and space.

Safety note: this page helps structure an assessment. It does not replace medical advice, an on-site assessment or applicable building and accessibility rules.
